The bottled gas (propane and butane) is a very efficient and easily transportable fuel. If used properly, is a safe and convenient form of energy. If used incorrectly can cause accidents. Please READ THESE RECOMMENDATIONS that RUBIS GAS and GAVEDRA you have to remember, contains simple rules that / to help you use the gas safely.

The use of gas is made freely by the user and their responsibility.


  • Close the gas valves of the appliances.
  • In the case of a full bottle remove the seal.
  • Make sure not to introduce foreign particles into the valve. In case of difficulty contact your dealer RUBIS Gas.
  • Place the gear unit with the handle in the closed position and push it down.
  • Make sure it is properly placed (should rotate freely and pulling up should not go out). In case of difficulty, do not force and contact your dealer RUBIS Gas.
  • When you need gas, turn the knob to the OPEN position.
  • When not in need of gas turn the handle to the CLOSED position.
  • Make sure you have your phone switched on (pilot or flame).
  • When not in need of gas turn the knob in the CLOSED position.
  • I hope the burner and / or pilot go out (if it does not, do not remove the gearbox, leave the lights burning device and immediately contact your dealer RUBIS Gas or firefighters).

  • Nunca introduza objetos no interior da válvula da garrafa.
  • Nunca tente forçar a válvula ou garrafa, ou usar ferramentas para resolver dificuldades.
  • Nunca deixe o tubo de borracha em contacto direto com fontes de calor.
  • Nunca pendure objetos nos tubos de borrachas.
  • Nunca monte um esquentador sem conduta de evacuação de gases queimados, (em material incombustível) entre aparelho e a chaminé ou exterior da habitação.
  • Nunca monte um esquentador na casa de banho.

Utilização »»

  • Nunca deixe recipientes ao lume sem serem regularmente vigiados. Um líquido a ferver que se entorne, pode apagar o bico de gás. Azeite ou óleo que se deixe aquecer demasiado pode inflamar-se.
  • Nunca coloque aquecedores a gás junto de materiais inflamáveis e nunca os utilize enquanto dorme.
  • Nunca acenda o esquentador com as torneiras de água abertas.
  • Nunca coloque ou utilize líquidos inflamáveis próximo dos aparelhos de queima (ex.: álcool, petróleo, gasolina).
  • Immediately close the gas (reducer with stick in the closed position).
  • Do not delete any heat and flames.
  • Air the room by opening doors and windows.
  • Do not turn on or off electrical switches. Disconnect the electrical panel if it is away from the leak (compartment where the gas does not smell)
  • Look no leakage with flame (matches or lighter) and do not try to fix anything. If you wish to detect the leak brush the area where suspected its existence with a solution of water and soap
  • If possible put the bottle outdoors and immediately communicate with your dealer RUBIS Gas. Or call the fire department.
  • If the gas leak ignite immediately plug the site of the leakage with a cloth soaked in water, if safe to do so, and immediately call the fire department. Act as in the previous point.
